Latter to the Editor Comment on: Subclavian approach without ultrasound guidance is safe and effective for pediatric central venous access
Abstract
We read with great interest the recent article by Mayon et al. reporting that subclavian central venous access without ultrasound (US) guidance is “safe and effective” in children and adolescents and young adults [1]. The authors are to be commended for presenting a large, prospective cohort within a standardized perioperative protocol.
