Letter to the Editor in Response to: Neurodevelopmental Outcomes and Long-term Quality of Life in Esophageal Atresia: A Narrative Review
Abstract
We read with interest the narrative review by Doucet et al. [1], which helpfully shifts attention from survival after esophageal atresia repair to developmental and quality-of-life outcomes. In a field where long-term counseling often lags behind improvements in perioperative care, that emphasis is timely and clinically useful.
