Letter to the editor regarding “Laparoscopic-assisted resection with adjunct sclerotherapy for abdominal lymphatic malformations: Long-term outcomes from a large cohort study”
Abstract
We read with great interest the article entitled “Laparoscopic-Assisted Resection with Adjunct Sclerotherapy for Abdominal Lymphatic Malformations: Long-term Outcomes from a Large Cohort Study” by Tran et al. [1]. This work represents one of the largest single-center series (83 patients over five years) addressing the rare entity of intraabdominal lymphatic malformations (LMs). The authors report an impressive success rate for surgical treatment and excellent long-term disease-free outcomes.
