Abstract

The primary goals of surgical management in thyroid disorders are the treatment of malignancy, goiter, and thyrotoxicosis, while adhering to the principle of ‘primum non nocere’. Hypocalcemia is among the most common complications, primarily resulting from inadvertent injury to the parathyroid glands.
