Good morning, good afternoon and good evening. Welcome to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Center for Telehealth. We are broadcasting to you live, and today we're gonna be talking about pediatric oncofertility. And what we're gonna talk about is a lot of controversial topics that are gonna be led by Doctor Leslie Breach, who is the director of the Center of Adolescent Gynecology here at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. I'm gonna give you a little bit of housekeeping stuff before we get started. If there are any technical issues, which there pretty much always will be, just restart your browser. You may have to restart your computer, and if that happens, don't worry because this entire event is recorded and you will be able to watch it about 3 or 4 days after the event. It will be up online and you can look at it anytime you want. Um, this is a CME event. So at the end you can click that button at the top. I think it'll be about right here above my head. It's a links button, and then you'll be able to take a question, questions at the end, and I'll give you CME credit. So, without further delay, and by the way, I did want to say one thing, we want this to be interactive. We want a lot of discussion, fights, debates, whatever it is. We want comments from the audience. This is not just meant to listen. This is meant to interact. So I'm going to turn this over to Dr. Breach, and we're going to have a fun event. Thank you. Thank you. We're looking forward to a wonderful afternoon. We wanted to thank Dr. Ponsky and the Global cast team. This is a great opportunity for our entire team. I'm gonna start today by introducing the members of our panel. They're all members of our comprehensive fertility care and preservation program that we run here at Cincinnati Children's. I'll start the furthest to my left and I'll start with Doctor Michelle McGowan. She is a research associate professor in the ethics Center in the division of General and Community Pediatrics here at Cincinnati Children's. We're honored that she's part of our group. The next member of our panel today is really our key critical member of our team. This is Olivia Frias, and she is the patient navigator of our fertility preservation program and as I said, a critical member of the team, and you'll see the most fun on the panel. Followed them. Right, I got a little laugh from the entire team, we hope. And then next to me you'll see Karen Burns, and she is one of the co-directors of the program here. She's an assistant professor of pediatric oncology at Cincinnati Children's and represents really the oncology area and is really an advocate for patients on our team. Myself, who will be here in the middle and really you'll probably be tired of me by the end, hopefully not. we'll move along then to really our critical member from the gynecology side. This is Doctor Holly Hefkin. She is also a co-director of the program. She's an assistant professor of gynecology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and the department at the University of Cincinnati. And you'll see next to her really the guy who's most dressed up for the event today, Doctor Shrine. He is a pediatric urologist and he is also a co-director of the program. He's joining the faculty here at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Hospital Medical Center, and he is a wonderful asset to our team as well. On the end, you'll see Todd, he tries to say that he's a member of our team, but we just let him, we just let him in here and there as needed for these kinds of events. By the way, by the way, 44% of the audience are pediatric surgeons, just in case you wanted to know, well, that, that's an important fact for us to know from the start. 16% are nurses, 16%, um, what do we got here? 12, uh, 12% are, no, I lied to you. Pediatric surgeons, 12%, 44% say other. I don't even know what that means. 8% though are OBGYN. Ah, fabulous. Well, it's a great mixture of participants, which is fabulous. I do know that the pediatric surgeons are probably most aware of the global cost phenomenon, but luckily we're spreading this phenomenon to other fields, and they'll understand the benefit of these live events and the ability to watch them later, and then we'll hope that you'll do that as well.
